Ged Kennett. Handcrafted stainless steel and cast metal handles.
Ged Kennett. Archive Brochures.

Ged lives and works within the grounds of Nettlecombe Court, an ancient country estate on the edge of Exmoor.

His workshops are based in the Georgian stable courtyard, one is in the carriage house which he uses for engineering and finishing and the other is the old estate forge, in which all the metalwork on the estate has been produced for over 200 years.

Ged set up his workshop at Nettlecombe in 1996.  After working to commission for a number of years it became apparent that his skills favoured work of a small, fine scale.

He discovered a need for high quality, imaginative cabinet fittings and in 1999 he began specialising in this area.
Ged strives to produce the highest quality fittings, in terms of both manufacture and design while developing new techniques of forming and finishing metal.

Ged's work has been utilised in many prestigious projects including:

The world’s largest privately owned luxury Yacht,

St Pauls Cathedral,

And Britain’s most expensive apartment.
